About the Role
Our client, a well-established business based in Devon specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of outdoor products and garden furniture. They are seeking a motivated Marketing Apprentice to join their marketing department. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart a marketing career in a dynamic setting, gaining experience across a variety of digital and offline marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities
As a Marketing Apprentice, you will be involved in a broad range of marketing activities, including:
Digital Marketing:
- Managing and updating the company’s website using a content management system.
- Using analytics dashboards to gather, analyse, and report on marketing data.
- Supporting email marketing campaigns, including content creation and performance analysis.
- Assisting with SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and content marketing strategies, such as blogging and creating engaging assets.
- Involvement in social media marketing, including both organic and paid campaigns.
- Participating in influencer and affiliate marketing to extend the brand’s reach.
- Learning the fundamentals of Search Engine Marketing (e.g., Google Ads) and video marketing techniques.
Offline Marketing:
- Collaborating with external suppliers, such as marketing agencies and print providers.
- Assisting with print advertising, including magazines and leaflets.
- Supporting direct mail campaigns and event planning.
- Taking part in public relations efforts to enhance and maintain the brand’s reputation.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be driven and eager to develop their skills in a marketing role. A-Level qualifications or equivalent are preferred, along with a passion for creativity and data analysis. This position is perfect for someone proactive and keen to build a career in marketing. To be suitable for the role you will also need English and maths GCSEs at C/4 and above.

The apprenticeship
This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:
- Campaign management;
- Content creation;
- Social Media marketing;
- Digital and traditional communications;
- Brand management;
- Communication skills;
- Project Management;
- And much, much more.
All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
