Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Salary: £18,000 – £21,000 depending on experience
Type of Work: Office-based
Location: Poole / Ferndown (moving to Bournemouth in the coming months)

Our client is a well-known digital media platform focused on the food and hospitality industry. They produce engaging online content for chefs, restaurants, and hospitality professionals, sharing stories, insights, and industry updates with a growing audience.
Their marketing team focuses heavily on creating high-quality digital content across social media and online platforms. As part of a small but ambitious digital team, the successful apprentice will gain hands-on experience helping plan, create, and manage content that reaches thousands of people in the hospitality sector.

The Role
This apprenticeship is designed to help someone develop into a confident digital marketer over time.
In the early stages, you will learn the foundations of content planning, social media management, and audience engagement while supporting the wider marketing team. As your skills develop, you will begin to take greater ownership of tasks such as creating content, managing posts, and contributing ideas to campaigns.
By the end of the apprenticeship, you should feel confident managing certain areas of the company’s social media activity independently while contributing to wider marketing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Content Creation
- Support the creation and scheduling of content across social media platforms
- Write captions and assist with short-form video and visual content
- Adapt content for different platforms and audiences
- Help maintain and organise content calendars
Tone of Voice & Brand Content
- Help maintain and develop a consistent tone of voice across different channels
- Learn how different audiences respond to different styles of content
- Support testing of new creative formats and content ideas
- Monitor engagement and feedback to improve future content
Community Engagement
- Monitor comments and messages across social media channels
- Support interactions with followers and community members
- Help identify which content resonates most with audiences
Campaign & Marketing Support
- Assist with adapting organic social content for paid campaigns (META)
- Support basic reporting on engagement and performance
What They’re Looking For
Our client is looking for someone enthusiastic, creative, and keen to build a career in marketing and digital media.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Right to work and live in the UK
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at C/4 and above in English and maths
- Educated to A-level standard or above
- Passionate about social media and digital content
- Creative and proactive, with the confidence to suggest ideas
- Interested in food, restaurants, or the hospitality industry
- A strong communicator with good written English
- Organised and reliable with good attention to detail
- Curious and eager to learn new skills
About the Apprenticeship
This role forms part of the Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship, allowing you to gain professional marketing skills while working full-time.
Alongside your day-to-day work, you will also study towards the CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing, an industry-recognised qualification worth over £800.
The programme combines practical work experience with structured learning, helping you develop the skills needed to build a long-term career in marketing.
