Location: London N1

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm 37.5 hour week

Salary: £20,000

Type of Work: Hybrid (3.5 days Office, 1.5 days remote)

Apprenticeship: Multi-Channel Marketer level 3

Additional qualification: Free CIM Foundation Certificate worth £800+

About the Role

Support the practice’s business development by coordinating and producing bid and tender submissions, preparing engaging marketing and promotional materials, managing online procurement opportunities and content updates, and assisting with digital communications and social media to help grow the studio’s profile and win new work. The interviews will take place in January with a view to start as soon as possible.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring online procurement portals and reporting on potential opportunities.
  • Responsible for completing online procurement applications and required forms. Compiling all bid related documents required for tender submissions in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating the end-to-end bid process for tenders, PQQs, RFPs and SQs in the UK and Ireland. Gathering input from internal teams and producing compelling, tailored submissions.
  • Meeting and calendar management for all marketing and bid matters.
  • Maintaining and updating a central library and database of bid content, and templates to streamline future submissions.
  • Producing high-quality marketing and promotional materials including brochures, awards submissions and presentations.
  • Updating the company website, writing and editing news articles, project pages to ensure fresh and engaging content.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading documents, social media and website content.
  • Overseeing all social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky), creating and scheduling posts to promote practice events and project milestones.
  • Coordinating and distributing press releases to targeted publications.
  • Assistance with business development activities, maintaining progress trackers, liaising with directors and third parties, and arranging follow-up actions.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Achieved C/4 and above in GCSE English and maths.
  • Degree-level education (non-marketing) – We welcome graduates from a range of disciplines; what matters most is your communication ability, design awareness and interest in the role. Any synergistic degrees are preferred.
  • Strong written English skills – You should be confident producing clear, accurate and well-crafted written content across bids, marketing materials and internal documents.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is desirable, though not mandatory. Experience using tools such as InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator to create professional, visually engaging documents and graphics is beneficial, though not mandatory.
  • Willingness to engage in bid writing – You should be open to developing skills in preparing tender documents and supporting the practice’s work-winning activities.
  • Motivated and eager to learn – We’re looking for someone proactive, enthusiastic and ready to grow within a supportive team.

The Apprenticeship

This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:

  • Campaign management;
  • Content creation;
  • Social Media marketing;
  • Digital and traditional communications;
  • Brand management;
  • Communication skills;
  • Project Management;
  • And much, much more.

All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.

In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
