About the Company

Our client is a growing marketing consultancy based in Bristol that works closely with businesses to help them improve their marketing strategy, campaigns, and overall commercial performance.

They are a small, close-knit team that values practical thinking, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Rather than just talking about marketing theory, they focus on actually delivering results for their clients.

The company places a strong emphasis on development and internal progression. Junior team members are supported through mentorship, structured training, and real responsibility as they grow in confidence and capability.

About the Role

This is an entry-level marketing apprenticeship where you will learn by doing. From day one you will be involved in real marketing activity and client work while developing your skills through a structured training programme.

You will work alongside experienced marketers who will guide you through the fundamentals of modern marketing, including content creation, campaign planning, and marketing performance tracking.

Over time, you will gradually take on more responsibility. After around six months in the role, you will begin leading your own internal marketing project with guidance from a mentor, helping you move from learner to practitioner.

This role is ideal for someone curious about how marketing actually works in the real world and who enjoys being involved in practical work rather than just theory.

Typical Duties May Include

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Writing and editing marketing content for different channels
  • Assisting with email marketing activity
  • Helping manage and update website content
  • Supporting social media activity and scheduling posts
  • Assisting with marketing reports and performance tracking
  • Attending planning meetings and contributing ideas
  • Maintaining a learning journal as part of the apprenticeship programme

Candidate Requirements

  • Right to work and live in the UK
  • Minimum of GCSEs (Grade 4–9 / A–C)* including English and Maths
  • Educated to A-level standard or higher
  • A genuine interest in marketing and how businesses promote themselves
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Willingness to learn and take feedback on board
  • Proactive attitude and a willingness to get involved
  • Confidence to contribute ideas and ask questions

This role would suit someone starting out in marketing who wants hands-on experience while gaining a recognised qualification.

The Apprenticeship

This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:

  • Campaign management;
  • Content creation;
  • Social Media marketing;
  • Digital and traditional communications;
  • Brand management;
  • Communication skills;
  • Project Management;
  • And much, much more.

All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.

In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
