About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to begin a career in marketing while gaining valuable hands-on experience. As a Marketing Apprentice, you will work alongside an experienced team, learning how to support a variety of marketing activities across digital and traditional channels.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with social media content, eCommerce advertising, email campaigns, newsletters, blogs, promotional materials, SEO, and event planning. You’ll also gain experience in marketing administration, help with targeted campaigns, and support the wider business with ad hoc tasks when required, including mail order packing. This varied role offers excellent exposure to all aspects of marketing, providing a strong foundation for a successful career in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with creating and managing content across social media platforms.
- Support the delivery of eCommerce advertising campaigns, including Amazon Ads.
- Help design and produce marketing materials, including leaflets and promotional artwork.
- Assist with planning and delivering promotional campaigns.
- Support the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
- Contribute to writing blog content and website updates.
- Assist with SEO activities to improve website visibility.
- Support the planning and coordination of marketing events.
- Help create and send targeted email campaigns.
- Provide general marketing and administrative support to the team.
- Assist with ad hoc business duties, including mail order packing when required.
- Learn about and contribute to the company’s overall marketing strategy.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
- Ideally educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
- A positive attitude with a genuine enthusiasm to learn and develop.
- A creative mindset with the confidence to share new ideas.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team, using initiative when appropriate.
- A genuine interest in marketing and a desire to understand how businesses grow.
- A proactive approach, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and develop new skills.

About the Apprenticeship
This role is being delivered through a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship with The Marketing Trainer.
Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll receive structured training covering:
- Social media marketing
- Content creation
- Email marketing
- Marketing strategy and planning
- Data and campaign analysis
- Brand development
- Customer insight
- Marketing technologies and tools
You’ll also gain a CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing as part of the programme, helping you develop industry-recognised knowledge and practical skills.
Upon successful completion, there will be the opportunity to continue developing within the business and take greater ownership of its marketing activity.
