About the Company

Our client is a family-run used car dealership focused on supplying quality vehicles alongside a friendly, transparent, and customer-first service. Every vehicle sold undergoes a full mechanical and cosmetic health check, ensuring customers drive away with confidence and peace of mind.

The business places strong emphasis on trust, presentation, and digital visibility, and is now looking to develop its online presence further through a dedicated marketing and content apprentice. This is a hands-on environment where the apprentice will be supported, trained, and gradually trusted to take ownership of key digital and media activities.

About the Role

This is a Marketing & Content Creation Apprenticeship designed for someone who wants to create, manage, and deliver high-quality automotive content across social and digital platforms.

The apprentice will be trained in the end-to-end production of both short-form and long-form content, starting with support and guidance and progressing towards greater independence and responsibility. Over time, the successful candidate will become a key contributor to the client’s digital presence, helping shape how the brand is seen online.

The role is practical, creative, and public-facing. As confidence grows, the apprentice will be supported to appear on camera, present vehicles, and represent the brand in a professional and engaging way.

Key Responsibilities (Training & Development Focused)

Throughout the apprenticeship, the individual will develop and take ownership of:

  • Planning of content ideas and assist in maintaining a consistent posting schedule across platforms, progressing to managing this independently.
  • Develop confidence presenting vehicles on camera for reviews, walk-arounds, and behind-the-scenes content, with the long-term aim of becoming a recognisable face of the brand.
  • Produce TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, learning how to create engaging, high-energy content that drives reach and engagement.
  • Script, film, and edit longer automotive reviews and YouTube content, building technical and storytelling skills over time.
  • Support the capture and editing of professional vehicle imagery for use across the website and social channels, progressing towards full responsibility for stock photography.
  • Monitor social media and automotive trends, learning how to apply them appropriately to keep content relevant and engaging.
  • Manage comments and direct messages, learning how to communicate professionally and consistently with the audience.

Candidate Requirements

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
  • Educated to A-level standard or higher
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
  • Comfortable on camera or keen to build confidence presenting
  • Strong interest in cars and automotive culture
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage time effectively
  • Has experience in video editing and photography tools (e.g. Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and open to feedback
  • Motivated to develop skills and gradually take ownership of responsibilities as experience grows

Benefits:

Company pension, on-site parking, and company events

All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
