About the Role
We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and wants to gain valuable knowledge and experience to kick start their marketing career.
As the Digital Marketing Apprentice you will play a key role in creating, managing and executing the company’s marketing activity. You’ll use your creativity and innovative skills to produce engaging content and eye-catching marketing assets to support the Marketing and Content team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create marketing copy for emails, newsletters, social media and video content.
- Create and publish content on our intranet and website
- Draft copy, manage content, and build weekly newsletters and internal communications.
- Support our use of social media (LinkedIn) by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and reporting on performance.
- Assist our commercial marketing activities such as events, training and partnership promotion.
- Organise projects and communicate campaign performance using tools such as ClickUp.
- Develop strong working relationships with different internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of our marketing activity to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with planning, filming and editing video content for internal and external audiences.
- Support the management of our CRM system to build best practice in contact collection, accuracy and targeting.
- Assist in the design of digital and printed materials including briefings, member content, updates and newsletters using the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro etc.).
- Review and ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels and assets.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks.
Candidate Requirements
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent.
- A genuine interest in marketing and a desire to learn and develop within the field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team and manage multiple tasks.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn with a positive attitude.
- Detail-oriented and organised with a proactive approach.
- Organisational skills are essential.

The Apprenticeship
This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:
- Campaign management;
- Content creation;
- Social Media marketing;
- Digital and traditional communications;
- Brand management;
- Communication skills;
- Project Management;
- And much, much more.
All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
