They work closely with both clients and care commissioners to ensure a high standard of support, promoting safety, dignity, and well-being.
Main duties:
Reporting to senior management, the Communications Apprentice will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing content for our client’s website and social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. This role plays a key part in promoting our client’s mission and services, increasing brand awareness, and engaging with their online audience.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Management: Develop, write, and edit engaging content for the website and social media channels, including blog posts, articles, infographics, and videos.
- Social Media Strategy: Implement and monitor social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement, adapting content for different platforms.
- Website Management: Ensure website content remains up to date, accurate, and optimised for user experience and SEO, working alongside the web development team.
- Campaign Support: Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email marketing and social media advertising.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of digital content and social media campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing initiatives.
- Brand Consistency: Uphold a unified brand voice and tone across all content.
Beneficial skills:
- An understanding of social media platforms and content management systems would be beneficial.
- An interest in SEO best practices and website analytics tools would be useful.
- A willingness to learn how to create and edit multimedia content.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail will help in this role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills would be advantageous.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively would be beneficial.
Qualifications and Experience:
- GCSEs in English and maths at 4/C and above.
- Educated to A-level or higher in synergistic subjects such as English, Journalism, Business, etc.
- Any prior experience in content creation or social media is beneficial but not required.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

The Apprenticeship
This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:
- Campaign management;
- Content creation;
- Social Media marketing;
- Digital and traditional communications;
- Brand management;
- Communication skills;
- Project Management;
- And much, much more.
All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost to you. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
