About the Role
As a Marketing Apprentice, you’ll be an integral part of the marketing team. Working closely with senior marketing staff, you’ll support digital marketing activities and contribute to wider marketing and event planning efforts.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment while receiving structured training and development.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and publishing content across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X.
- Create engaging content – including graphics, videos, stories and reels.
- Monitor social media activity and help prepare reports on engagement and reach.
- Research social media trends and propose new ideas to grow online presence.
Marketing Support
- Help produce materials such as newsletters, blog posts, flyers and slide decks.
- Support in updating and managing website content using WordPress or other CMS tools.
- Assist in campaign execution and monitor performance data.
Event Coordination
- Provide admin and logistical support for events, including meetings, bookings and promotional materials.
- Help manage event communications, guest lists and follow-up.
- Support on-site with event set-up, registration and customer engagement.
- Help maintain event schedules and assist in post-event evaluation.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a keen interest in marketing and digital media
- Is confident using social media platforms
- Has strong communication and writing skills
- Is organised, proactive, and willing to learn
- Is outgoing and confident
- Lives within a commutable distance to Rochdale, Manchester.
- Must have a full UK driving licence.
- Has GCSE’s C/4 or above in both Maths and English
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

The Apprenticeship
This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:
- Campaign management;
- Content creation;
- Social Media marketing;
- Digital and traditional communications;
- Brand management;
- Communication skills;
- Project Management;
- And much, much more.
All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
