The basics

Title: Apprentice Marketing Executive

Location: London, Near Finsbury Park

Salary: £20,000 – £24,000 depending on experience.

Working arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days from home.

Contract: Fixed-term contract, 15 – 18 months depending on the apprenticeship

Working hours: 09:00 – 17:30, Monday – Friday

Apprenticeship: Multi-Channel Marketer level 3 or Marketing Executive level 4

Qualifications: A level 3 or 4 CIM, depending on the  apprenticeship

About the Role

Our client, a leading events company based in Central London, is seeking a passionate and ambitious Apprentice Marketing Executive to join their friendly and growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 0 – 12 months of marketing experience—to gain hands-on exposure to B2B marketing campaigns, social media management, and event promotion for high-profile decarbonisation and sustainability conferences.

The successful candidate will be supported by a structured training plan, gaining real-world experience while developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to build a long-term career in marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Apprentice Marketing Executive will work closely with the wider marketing and project teams to support campaigns and events, including:

  • Assisting with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive event bookings.
  • Helping secure media partnerships and industry collaborations.
  • Supporting the management of social media channels, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
  • Assisting with email marketing campaigns and learning to use marketing automation tools.
  • Updating event websites with accurate, on-brand content.
  • Contributing to campaign reports and helping analyse performance data to improve future campaigns.
  • Helping manage and build targeted contact lists for marketing outreach.
  • Participating in regular team meetings to provide updates and learn from campaign performance analysis.

 

Who They’re Looking For

Our client is open to individuals who are:

  • Keen to start a career in marketing – no experience necessary, although up to a year of marketing experience is welcomed.
  • Creative and curious, with an interest in events, sustainability, and digital marketing.
  • Strong communicators with good writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Organised and eager to learn how to manage projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with data and open to learning marketing tools and software.
  • Experience working in social media, email marketing, paid advertising, or events is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Achieved GCSEs in English and maths at 4/C and above.
  • Is educated to degree level or higher in synergistic subjects such as the humanities, design, business, English, Journalism, etc.
