Marketing Apprentice, South Kensington

The Basics:

Job title: Marketing Apprentice

Apprenticeship: Multi-Channel Marketer level 3

Salary: £16,000 – £20,000

Duration: 15 months (with permanent upon completion)

Location: South Kensington, SW3

Working arrangement:  Hybrid, 5 days in office prior to probation, 4 days in office once probation has been passed.

Qualification: Level 3 CIM Foundation Certificate worth £1,000+

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Marketing Apprentice to support the delivery of their marketing strategy across branding, marketing operations, and digital marketing. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the apprentice will gain hands-on experience while developing skills in campaign coordination, content creation, and digital marketing. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in marketing within a supportive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Branding Support

Assist in strengthening our client’s brand identity and positioning.

  • Support the creation of brand guidelines and ensure consistency across channels.
  • Assist with the development of visual and written content for campaigns, events, and product launches.
  • Contribute to brand storytelling through blogs, press releases, and promotional materials.
  • Carry out competitor and industry research to inform branding activity.
  • Help coordinate brand events, partnerships, and activations.
  1. Marketing Operations

Learn how to manage day-to-day marketing activities to ensure smooth campaign delivery.

  • Assist in maintaining marketing calendars, schedules, and timelines.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Help liaise with external suppliers, freelancers, and agencies.
  • Assist with tracking budgets and organising invoices.
  • Learn how to manage and update marketing databases, asset libraries, and CRM tools.
  1. Digital Marketing

Support the Marketing Manager in driving online presence and audience engagement.

  • Assist in creating and scheduling engaging social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Support the development of email marketing campaigns, including building mailing lists and tracking results.
  • Help optimise website content to improve SEO and user experience.
  • Monitor analytics and performance data across channels, compiling reports for the team.
  • Gain exposure to paid media campaigns (PPC, display, retargeting) and assist with tracking performance.

What They’re Looking For

  • Someone who has achieved grade C/4 and above in GCSE English and maths
  • Some who is educated to A-level or above in synergistic subjects
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Passion for travel, hospitality, and innovative customer experiences
  • Familiarity with digital tools like Canva, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Mailchimp, or HubSpot are desirable but not essential.

 

About the Apprenticeship

This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:

  • Campaign management;
  • Content creation;
  • Social Media marketing;
  • Digital and traditional communications;
  • Brand management;
  • Communication skills;
  • Project Management;
  • And much, much more.

All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.

In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship, you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
