Salary: £22,500

Contract type: Fixed-term for 15 months initially. Moving to permanent based on performance

Working hours: 9 – 5, Mon – Fri, 40 hours per week

Role Overview

Our client is looking for a charismatic and efficient Marketing Apprentice to support their growing organisation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role by managing client-facing responsibilities and participating in a wide range of marketing campaigns. Creativity, intuition, and good instincts are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Draft and edit blog posts, articles, social media content, brochures, newsletters, and flyers.
  • Case Studies and Testimonials: Meeting with clients and capturing their stories and experiences.
  • Social Media Management: Schedule and publish posts, monitor interactions, and analyse performance on various social media platforms.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and target audience preferences.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, coordinating with designers and clients to ensure timely delivery.
  • Event Coordination: Help organise and promote client events, webinars, and conferences.
  • Email Marketing: Create and schedule email campaigns, manage email lists, and analyse campaign performance.
  • Client Engagement: Handle customer inquiries and feedback through various channels. The successful candidate will be required to travel to client premises.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain marketing databases, update customer records, and prepare reports and presentations.
  • Reporting and Collaboration: Report to the Head of Operations and work closely with the Design department to help imagine and deliver creative campaigns.

The ideal candidate

  • Will be educated to degree level in synergistic subjects. Due to the nature of the apprenticeship, we’re unable to accept applications from those with marketing degrees.
  • Technical proficiencies with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and Business Manager, and Excel would be advantageous but not essential.
  • You’ll be comfortable interpreting data and creating reports.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Access to a vehicle is advantageous.
  • Has GCSE’s in English and maths at C/4 and above.

Personal Attributes:

  • Happy and charismatic with a client-facing demeanour.
  • Ruthlessly efficient with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Creative, intuitive, and able to demonstrate good instincts.
  • Ideally will have an understanding of the life of older adults needing care.

The apprenticeship

This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:

  • Campaign management;
  • Content creation;
  • Social Media marketing;
  • Digital and traditional communications;
  • Brand management;
  • Communication skills;
  • Project Management;
  • And much, much more.

All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.

In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at extra no cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
