Location: Coventry (CV4)

Salary: £7.55 per hour (£13,741pa)

Hours: 35 hours per week (9 – 5, some flexibility)

Contract: 15 months

Work Type: Office-based

Our client is a full-service technology provider based in Coventry, offering a wide range of IT, web, hosting, and telecoms solutions. They act as a one-stop shop for businesses, whether those clients are completely new to digital or already technically experienced.

Alongside their core services, they operate several sub-brands that cover areas such as website design, hosting, telecommunications, and customer support systems. What sets them apart is their ability to simplify technical solutions, ensuring everything is explained in clear, straightforward language.

With a small, friendly team and a customer-focused ethos, they are now looking to bring on a Marketing Apprentice to support their growth and help drive brand awareness.

 

About the Role & Duties

As a Marketing Apprentice, you will support the marketing function across both digital and offline channels. Your tasks may include:

  • Assisting content creation for social media (text, graphics, video)
  • Helping plan and execute digital campaigns (email, PPC, SEO support)
  • Updating the website (content, landing pages, blog posts)
  • Supporting offline marketing efforts: print materials, local events, flyers
  • Tracking and reporting on marketing metrics and performance
  • Co-ordinating with external suppliers (designers, printers, media)
  • General marketing administration and support to the team

You’ll work under a Line Manager and be immersed in a hands-on environment, learning by doing.

 

What We’re Looking For

We want someone with drive, curiosity, and a real interest in marketing and tech. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Completed and achieved C/4 in English and maths GCSEs
  • Ideally educated to A-level standard
  • A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Some familiarity or interest in social media, content, or creative tools is desirable (e.g. Canva, Adobe)
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Bonus / desirable: IT knowledge or an interest in web/telecoms would help
  • Ideally has a driving licence
  • Willingness to start learning

Personality is critical — we’re after someone enthusiastic, flexible, and ready to contribute ideas.

 

The Apprenticeship

This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:

  • Campaign management;
  • Content creation;
  • Social Media marketing;
  • Digital and traditional communications;
  • Brand management;
  • Communication skills;
  • Project Management;
  • And much, much more.

All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.

In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
