Location: London Euston / Camden
Working arrangement: 37.5 hours, Mon – Fri, hybrid 3 days in office
Contract: 15 months fixed-term with possible progression to permanent
Salary: £20,000
Apprenticeship: Multi-Channel Marketer level 3
Qualifications: CIM Foundation Certificate (worth £1,000+)
About the Role
Our client, a creative education provider within the jewellery and design sector, is seeking a motivated and organised individual to join their Marketing team as a Marketing Apprentice. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the apprentice will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing activities, with increasing responsibility as their skills and confidence develop.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their marketing career, particularly in a student-focused environment where brand awareness, recruitment campaigns, and lead generation play a central role.
Key Responsibilities (to be developed over time):
Campaign & Communications Support
- Assisting in the planning, promotion and delivery of webinars and recruitment events
- Helping to draft and send out marketing emails and newsletters to prospective students
- Supporting the creation and distribution of blog posts, social media content, and visual assets
- Learning how to build and segment databases for targeted communications
- Monitoring and managing inbox enquiries with support from the team
Digital Marketing & Website
- Gaining experience in editing website content, updating course pages, and learning basic SEO techniques
- Supporting the coordination of podcast content and distribution
- Assisting in reporting on email campaigns and website analytics
Events & Outreach
- Helping to set up event pages (e.g. Eventbrite) and liaise with other internal teams
- Attending marketing events and supporting event photography, where needed
- Coordinating with freelancers such as photographers or videographers and ensuring GDPR compliance for media usage
Content Creation & Social Media
- Visiting campuses (including occasional travel to regional sites) to capture photos and videos
- Assisting with basic photo and video editing for use in campaigns and social channels
- Supporting the marketing team with alumni engagement stories for newsletters, website, and social media
Market Research & Analysis
- Supporting with surveys, research projects, and competitor analysis
- Assisting in compiling reports using sales and campaign data
Design & Creative Support
- Working alongside the design team to contribute to campaign assets and materials (e.g. email graphics, social posts, podcast visuals)
What Our Client Is Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has achieved a grade C/4 and above in English and maths are GCSE
- Is enthusiastic and keen to learn about both traditional and digital marketing
- Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Is comfortable using basic digital tools and keen to learn new software
- Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team
- Has an interest in creative industries or education
Desirable (but not essential):
- Basic knowledge of platforms like WordPress, Mailchimp, or Canva
- Any experience using a camera or editing images/video would be a bonus
Additional Information
- The apprentice may occasionally be required to travel to regional campuses
- Full training and support will be provided as part of the apprenticeship programme

The Apprenticeship
This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:
- Campaign management;
- Content creation;
- Social Media marketing;
- Digital and traditional communications;
- Brand management;
- Communication skills;
- Project Management;
- And much, much more.
All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
