Company Description

Our client is an award-winning, innovative research agency that helps major brands develop their products and communications.  They find out what makes people tick and what drives the decisions they make.  Their difference is all about getting better data and insights from online surveys.

The role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic A-level / IB graduate to join our expanding team.  You’ll need to be a creative thinker, with an analytical mind, a professional approach and a sharp attention to detail.

What the role will involve:

  • The primary responsibility will be programming or ‘scripting’ online surveys for our proprietary platform:
    • Scripting is in HTML (full training is given in-house – previous experience in programming is not necessary, but having an interest in this kind of work is essential);
    • Additionally, there may be an opportunity to get involved in the development of our survey software, so any interest or experience in this area would also be an advantage.
  • Aside from this, you will be helping with the analysis of large data sets:
    • This will involve the creation of data tables and the coding/analysis of open-ended verbatim responses;
    • You’ll need to be numerate and comfortable working with Excel, and a basic understanding of statistics is also important.

As part of your apprenticeship, you’ll be involved in a variety of other activities to develop your experience, knowledge, and ultimately your portfolio towards the requirements of the qualification.

As an apprentice, you should have:

  • Have A-levels or higher in complimentary subjects such as Psychology, Sociology, or other social science subjects;
  • Must have English and maths GCSEs at grade C/4 and above;
  • Ideally, you’ll be quite tech-savvy as the role will require you to work with things like HTML and research software;
  • You’ll need to be a committed team player who likes the idea of joining a small company intent on doing things differently.;
  • You are a fast learner;
  • And have excellent communication skills.

Benefits:

  • Flexible remote working with one day in London a month including a social team lunch and drinks;
  • Annual company conference (1-2 nights away);
  • A clear career path with the opportunity to advance within the company;
  • Supportive company culture – as a small team, we work closely together.
