About the employer

Our client is experiencing a period of significant growth and is seeking a Marketing Apprentice to join their expanding marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in marketing by working directly with their Group Marketing Manager. You will play a key role in managing a variety of digital communications for both their Installer Partners and end-users, helping to nurture these relationships through innovative strategies and compelling content marketing. Along the way, you’ll gain valuable on-the-job experience across various marketing disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

As a Marketing Apprentice, you will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
• Email Marketing Campaigns – Develop and execute engaging B2B and B2C email campaigns using Mailchimp.
• Website Management – Oversee the content management of our client’s brand websites, ensuring they remain up-to-date and aligned with marketing objectives.
• Content Creation – Produce compelling blog content that drives traffic and supports broader marketing initiatives.
• Customer Feedback – Administer email surveys to gather valuable insights, helping to better understand customer preferences and improve services.
• Integrated Campaigns – Coordinate direct mail campaigns that complement and reinforce email marketing efforts.
• Installer Partner Support – Provide Installer Partners with white-label assets and customised customer journeys to support their local marketing efforts.
• Marketing Services for Installers – Extend marketing support by offering white-label print, web design, and localised digital advertising services.
• Print Advertising – Manage the briefing and creation of artwork for our client’s print advertising initiatives.

Required Behaviours

Qualifications & Skills

• A-Level qualification or equivalent.
• GCSEs in English and maths at C/4 and above.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A basic understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms such as Mailchimp and CMS systems is highly desirable. (training will be provided).

The apprenticeship

This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:
• Campaign management;
• Content creation;
• Social Media marketing;
• Digital and traditional communications;
• Brand management;
• Communication skills;
• Project Management;
• And much, much more.
All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at extra no cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
