Working Arrangement: Hybrid working pattern: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with some flexibility required — including the possibility of an additional day in the office when necessary.

About the Role and Client
Our client is a growing business home to several exciting consumer beauty brands. They are now looking for a Marketing Assistant as part of a Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship to join their dynamic marketing team. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop real-world marketing skills in a fast-paced and creative environment.
This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in the beauty industry and digital marketing, who is creative, organised, and eager to contribute to various marketing projects—from social media and email marketing to events and website updates.
Key Responsibilities
Digital & Content Marketing
- Support the creation of engaging marketing content, including graphics, short-form videos, and other photography.
- Assist in managing the content calendar to ensure timely and aligned publishing across channels.
- Help draft and schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
CRM & Email Marketing
- Assist in building and maintaining mailing lists.
- Support the creation and scheduling of email campaigns using CRM/email marketing platforms.
- Report on open rates, click-throughs, and campaign engagement.
Website & E-commerce Support:
- Help with updating website content and product listings using CMS.
- Assist in monitoring website performance and flagging any issues to the marketing or tech team.
- Contribute ideas for improving user experience and content layout.
Events & Campaigns:
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions.
- Assist in coordinating in-person and virtual events (e.g., pop-ups, trade shows).
- Help with event materials, setup, and content capture during events.
General Marketing Support:
- Monitor competitor activity and consumer trends to inform marketing activities.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to align social media and promotional efforts.
- Help prepare regular performance reports across different marketing channels.
What They’re Looking For
- Someone who has achieved C/4 and above in English and maths GCSE.
- Achieved A-levels in complementary subjects such as design, media, English, Business, or Psychology.
- Someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes beauty.
- An interest in marketing and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
- A willingness to be creative, contribute ideas, and try new things.
- A team player with good communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable using or learning tools such as Canva or video editing software.

About Multi-Channel Marketer
This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:
- Campaign management;
- Content creation;
- Social Media marketing;
- Digital and traditional communications;
- Brand management;
- Communication skills;
- Project Management;
- And much, much more.
All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
