Multi-Channel Marketing Apprentice – Luton

General overview

If you’re looking to start a career in marketing, look no further than the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship with us at TMT. As part of our marketing apprenticeships, you’ll work with a designated Coach, gain hands-on experience, 12 months of training modules, and study towards a Foundation CIM, setting you up for a future in marketing.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the sensitive nature of this role we will be considering female applicants only for this post in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to schedule 9 part 1)

Role: Multi-Channel Marketing Apprentice

Location: Bedfordshire, Luton

Salary: £15,000

Contract: Office-based, 37.5 per week (There may be some flexibility with home working)

Apprenticeship: Multi-Channel Marketer level 3

Duration: 15 months

Additional qualifications: Foundation CIM Certificate

 

 

Company Description

Our client is a charity that exists to help keep women and children safe. They aim to empower women through the provision of support and advice to secure accommodation and to successfully move on to independent living, free from abuse and fear. Their vision is for all women and their children exposed to gender-based violence and exploitation to be safe and have access to appropriate intervention, support, and advice in order to live free from fear and harm.

 

The role

You will play an important role in advancing the charity’s marketing efforts.

Your primary focus will be to enhance and implement the organisation’s marketing strategy, aiming to amplify audience engagement and heighten brand recognition.

Your average working week will consist of tasks such as:

MARKETING/CONTENT PLANNING

  • Research and propose creative concepts;
  • Recommend suitable marketing channels;
  • Present and refine content ideas;
  • Organise content effectively.

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

  • Storyboard and script content;
  • Source and create media assets;
  • Ensure accessibility and language quality;
  • Maintain relationships and focus on user engagement.

CONTENT CREATION AND EVALUATION

  • Write and edit content;
  • Capture media using various equipment;
  • Edit and optimise content;
  • Manage media assets and engage with audiences;
  • Evaluate campaigns for improvement.

ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Build partnerships and promote awareness;
  • Collaborate with agencies to support service development;
  • Fulfill additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

The ideal apprentice will:

  • Have AS or A-levels in complimentary subjects such as English, Maths, Media, Graphic Design, Psychology, Business, or Journalism;
  • Must have English and maths GCSEs at grade C/4 and above.

 

As an apprentice, you should have:

  • Have familiarity with social media platforms;
  • Have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva;
  • A passion for creating content for creative and digital media;
  • An ability to work effectively both individually and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • A strong work ethic and commitment in order to meet the standards required;
  • Develop, maintain and use professional networks;
  • Develop and maintain own competence and knowledge in specialist areas.

The marketing apprenticeship

The Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship covers a wide range of marketing topics over its 15-month duration, including:

  • Campaign management;
  • Content creation;
  • Social Media marketing;
  • Digital and traditional communications;
  • Brand management;
  • Communication skills;
  • Project Management;
  • And much, much more.

Overall, it’s the Swiss army knife of marketing apprenticeships. But, to sweeten the deal even more, we also enrol our apprentices on a Foundation certificate with the CIM. So, once you’ve completed the programme, you’ll have two qualifications, not just one like most other training providers.
